San Francisco City Impact

City Impact has been serving the city of San Francisco for 29 years. We have a strong belief and desire to see the city of San Francisco be transformed by impacting its worst district. The Tenderloin District is one square mile filled with 37,000 residents who live in 586 apartment buildings. Several thousand homeless pass through the Tenderloin daily. We provide two types of work to holistically heal and transform the area: The urgent relief works such as feeding, clothing, healing, housing and rescuing are works that must be offered to those in crisis. The preventive works of educating, counseling, training and spiritual discipleship will ensure that the cycles of poverty and despair will not be repeated.
