Georgia Daze

About

In the Fall 2004, three African American students founded Georgia Daze at the University of Georgia. Georgia Daze is a overnight campus visitation program for high school seniors that have been admitted to UGA. This program aims to encourage talented, historically underrepresented students to enroll at the University of Georgia. During the prospective weekend, students are exposed to classes, faculty, campus leaders, campus housing, dining halls, student organizations, and the social aspect of being a college student. Georgia Daze weekend programs are held each February and April.
