About
The San Francisco Green Film Festival (SFGFF) returns May 30 - June 5, 2013 as the Bay Area’s only event dedicated to film and media that explore green issues and sustainable living.
The day-to-day running of the San Francisco Green Film Festival is made possible with the dedication and energy of over 100 green-minded volunteers who help plan and produce our year-round events and the annual festival, scheduled for May 30 - June 5, 2013 at the New People Cinema in Japantown and other venues in San Francisco and Berkeley.
We’re seeking volunteers or interns in the following areas who can help us gear up for the third year of the festival. This is an exciting time to come on board!
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Festival volunteers donate their time to help us run our busy schedule of screenings and events during the annual festival in March. Volunteers help with will-call, ticket taking, ushering, event set-up/break-down, driving guests, and myriad other tasks!
Office interns and volunteers contribute between one and three days a week administrative support: answering queries, processing film entries, and office tasks. There is also the opportunity to get involved with festival programming and help out with longer term projects. This is great for people who are studying, have just graduated, or who have some down-time between productions.
Individuals with specialized skills contribute to projects or committees such as marketing, publicity, graphic design, fundraising, event production, programming and various other special projects.
SFGFF advisors contribute their time and expertise to the organization.
