Company Overview:
Feel the Earth is actively supporting local and national executive directives for healthy and sustainable food through "hands-on" interactive workshops in sustainable agriculture, community gardening, and community based events. Many of our integrative education programs are designed to empower youth to grow food and inspire them to become more involved within their communities. Feel the Earth is uniting people across all genders, regions, ethnicities, social classes, and religions. Our community oriented gardening education programs promote a richer relationship with the land and healthy living.It’s time to feel the earth and to make our city and our world a better place. We can do this by planting seeds in our community to transform us all to become able to grow local food.

Here are a few specific examples of our work with San Francisco schools and youth serving organizations providing hands-on, fun, and educational experiences:
San Francisco - "Seeds On Streets".Our community goal is using public space to support local urban food production. With youth support, we planted 2,000 vegetables, herbs, flowers seedlings and distributed throughout various schools and local community gardens in San Francisco.
San Francisco - James Denman Middle School. We have been teaching garden based education to a group of challenged middle school students and to groups of second graders. The garden program increased the self confidence of the participants and added value to other areas in their educational program.
San Francisco - Jewish Community High School.We created the idea and established a composting system for the future garden of the school. We worked closely with the school environmental club members and school staff.
San Francisco - Public Library.We proposed a childrens' program to the library and we are now scheduled to offer sustainable agriculture workshops at many participating San Francisco public libraries for children of all ages and their families.
