Mangalam Centers' mission is to support the preservation and transmission of Buddhist texts, teachings and culture through research and education and through providing support services for other organizations with similar aims.
The Mangalam Centers is composed of the Tibetan Aid Project, Guna Foundation, Nyingma Trust, Dharma Publishing, Mangalam Research Center, Light of Buddhadharma Foundation and the Center for Creative Inquiry.
Our work is carried out by volunteers - short-term, long-term or part-time - looking for personal growth, meaningful work and a community of shared values. Full-time volunteers receive room and board, a modest stipend and free classes on meditation, Buddghist psychology and Tibetan yoga.
