EMERGENCY USA: Life Support for Civilian Victims of War and Poverty

About

Volunteers meet as a local group once a month to plan outreach for community support of medical care and rehabilitation for victims of war, land mines and poverty while spreading awareness through education about a culture of peace and respect for human rights.

There are local volunteer groups in Boston, NYC, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Austin, Denver, San Francisco and LA as well as at West Virginia University and University of Rochester. This is a great opportunity to meet a diverse and committed group of people locally, nationally and internationally all working towards a common goal.

Mission: EMERGENCY USA raises awareness and funds to provide permanent infrastructure for medical care, rehabilitation and relief efforts for victims of war and poverty. The programs we support provide free-of-charge, high-standard medical and surgical care in war-torn areas.
