First Year Engineering Program- First Lego League and First Tech Challenge

About

Description

First Lego League is an international competition for elementary and middle school students.  Each year, FLL introduces a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus on and research, as well as design and program a Lego Mindstorms robot to complete specified tasks.  Student teams meet at tournaments to share their knowledge, compare ideas and show off their robots.

The UA First Year Engineering Program hosts two FLL tournaments on UA campus each year.  The Arkansas FLL State Championship is held each January, and the FLL Razorback Invitational is held each May.  The Invitational includes up to 72 invited team from across the US and worldwide.

We need volunteers to support our event, and no prior experience is required for most roles.
