A Different Breed Animal Rescue

A Different Breed Animal Rescue Adopt-A-Pet events focus on the adoption of homeless animals in the DFW Metroplex area, in association Dallas City Shelters and with other dog and cat rescue groups in our area. In 2004, in the Dallas area alone over 26,000 homeless pets had to be euthanized, because there were no available families to adopt them. Cats and dogs are born faster than they can be adopted. A Different Breed works works tirelessly to find homes for those pets considered adoptable, and works aggressively to educate the public on pet sterilization and responsible ownership. We are a 501C-3 organization and need your donations and your help as volunteers to make this possible.

Mission: Our mission is to address the tragic consequences of pet overpopulation by focusing on spay/neuter, aggressive outreach and adoptions.
