Welcome to Cat Haven and thank you for your interest in helping the homeless cats and kittens in our community. As a non-profit organization, Cat Haven relies completely on support from volunteers and the public. We could not continue our life-saving work without this help.
Cat Haven was founded in 1999 for the purpose of rescuing and placing cats and kittens into good homes. Since its inception, we have placed over 5,000 felines with loving families and individuals. All cats who are adopted through Cat Haven have been spay/neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia Virus and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, received age appropriate routine vaccinations, and have been micro-chipped.
Cats and kittens that come into our program are guaranteed a safe haven for life. If an adopter decides to subsequently surrender their Cat Haven pet at any time, that animal is automatically admitted back to our organization and efforts to find a new home are initiated.
As a Cat Haven volunteer, you will have the opportunity to touch the lives of thousands of homeless felines. Volunteer opportunities are diverse and range from fostering to shelter care. This packet is designed to help you learn more about the many areas in which your volunteer efforts can help the cats in our community.

Mission: Cat Haven is an all volunteer, non-profit organization devoted to (1) rescuing abandoned cats and kittens for adoption into loving new homes and (2) reducing the cat overpopulation problem by actively promoting the spaying and neutering of cats.
