Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas (BBBS) is a mentoring program that matches volunteers with children in the community. There are different programs to participate in, depending on the volunteer's schedule.

Community-based program

Visit with your Little Brother or Little Sister two to four times a monthflexible scheduleTake your Little Brother or Little Sister on everyday events such as running errands or shopping for grocieriesParticipate in agency sponsored and community activities

School-based program

Meet with your Little Brother or Little Sister about once a week at their schoolEasily fits during lunch hourEat lunch, play games or visit the library

Workplace Mentoring

Students are bused to your workplace from nearby schoolsOne-to-one mentoringStudents visit monthly during school yearVisits scheduled during lunchtimePlay games, have lunch, talk, etc.Exposure to careers
