The Children's Museum of Houston

Rated as the No. 1 children's museum in the country by Parents Magazine and serving more than 800,000 people annually, the Children's Museum of Houston is the highest-attended youth museum in the country for its size and is dedicated to transforming communities through innovative, child-centered learning. The Museum offers 14 galleries of hands-on exhibits and innovative outreach programming for kids ages birth to 12 years. Kids can hoist themselves into the air to learn about simple machines and climb through a three-story maze to tackle fitness challenges. They can boggle their brains while solving wacky mind-teasers and chase dragonflies, scoop pond water and make animal tracks to learn about the environment. They can even dress up in costume and produce their own television segments, plus much more!
