We provide complete medical and dental care, including spay and neutering if needed, to Dachshunds rescued from kill shelters, found as strays or turned in by previous owners. Upon release by one of three licensed veterinarian clinics that we work with, we have a network of foster homes where our rescues go to live in a protective environment, given food, shelter and loving human contact which many of them have never known. We hold various events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness of who we are, what we do and why it's so important. We are a small, all volunteer non-profit organization and we rely on our "FAVS" (Fosters, Adopters, Volunteers and Supporters) to help in many capacities to insure that our rescued pups "thrive and survive" and go on to live long, healthy and happy lives.
Mission: We have one sole purpose and that is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned and abused Dachshunds in need of a second chance at life and love. We believe there is a home somewhere for every dog rescued, some just take a little longer to find. Our belief is... "Until there are none... Save one"
