Rhythmix Cultural Works

About

As the leading provider of cultural arts performances and educational activities in Alameda, RCW aspires to build an engaging community-based arts organization that features programming relevant to the local population. Since RCW opened its doors in 2007, more than 30,000 visitors have been served with a series of concerts, festivals, theatrical productions, visual arts exhibits and classes featuring notable Bay Area artists as well as national and international touring artists. RCW's educational programming includes classes, summer camps and family workshops for all ages. RCW's K Gallery presents 9 diverse art exhibitions annually along with free artist lectures.

Mission: Rhythmix Cultural Works (RCW) is committed to bringing people of all ages together through a wide range of affordable art offerings in dance, music, theater, exhibitions and arts education. RCW seeks to engage people in the arts, promote cultural awareness, creativity and support artists in the presentation of their work by providing arts programming not previously available on the island to its residents.
