We are a civics education program that teaches middle school and high school students about the functioning of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government. We believe “democracy must be learned by each generation” in order to survive. Our students learn about democracy by participating as elected officials, legislators, attorneys, judges, witnesses, lobbyists, and media delegates. Student participants practice fundamental civic skills in the fall and show off their knowledge through legislative sessions, mock trials, media publications, and elections held during our District Conferences in November and our State Conferences in January and February.
