Garnet Preservation Assn.

About

The Garnet Preservation Association is a non-profit that works with the BLM in Missoula to further enchance, educate, and open the Garnet ghost town to the public.  It was once a thriving gold mining town in 1895 and slowly the miners left the area as time went on.  Today it is open to the public, to view, to walk through buildings, and thousands of people come during the summer to visit.  There are many places to volunteer, but the Garnet Preservation would like to have you become a board member.
