Our mission is to improve the lives of children and families with a focus on children at risk in Douglas County and eastern Kansas.
Services The Residential Program provides emergency residential care and YRCII residential care for children ages 10 years through 18 years old. Juvenile Intake provides on-call assistance to law enforcement, crisis intervention for families, and referral services for further assistance. Family Services provides family foster care services, including foster parent training and licensing preparation, placement coordination, and on-going support. The Prevention & Diversion Program includes High School Truancy Prevention and Diversion, Specialized Case Management for at-risk children, and Pre-filing Diversion and/or Conditions of Release case management for first-time juvenile offenders.
