To prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetime, by instilling in them the values of the Scout Law. Scout Law: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. The goal of the Black Warrior Council, Boy Scouts of America is to serve young people and their families by fostering the development of a strong values-centered life.Our organization aims to provide unique personal growth opportunities to an increasing number of youth and helping them to mature into into positive, self-reliant adults.The Black Warrior Council is located in Tuscaloosa, AL and serves twelve counties in West Alabama (Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston).
