MINDDRIVE is an afterschool experiential learning program designed to awaken the innovative spirit in high school aged students 10 and 12 as well as young adults. Meeting students where they are, MINDDRIVE tries to unlock creative potential through two weekend programs, automotive and communications and this year through a variety of technical and life skills courses. MINDDRIVE is oriented as a personal development organization not an educational organization. Cultivating skills in math, science, and writing are important, but they come secondary to the true purpose of getting kids excited to learn.
MINDDRIVE’S Mission Statement: To inspire students to learn, expand their vision of the future and have a positive influence on urban workforce development. All MINDDRIVE programs are built on the following values: Curiosity, Respect, Family, Integrity, Collaboration, and Accountability.
