About
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee has helped local kids and teens since 1887 when Annabell Cook Whitcomb transformed two basement rooms at Plymouth Church on Milwaukee’s east side into a Club for boys.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee's mission is to inspire and empower all young people to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We offer after-school and summer programming for children ages 5 to 18. To help ensure all youth have the opportunity to participate, the Clubs charges only a $5 membership fee and no one is turned away because they cannot pay. Regardless of their circumstances, there is a place at the Clubs for every kid.
