We are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1998. We believe that interaction with loving, attentive pets can enrich the quality of life of people of all ages, especially those with special needs. We offer professional training, testing and evaluation to individuals and their dogs. We partner with facilities, organizations, schools and community groups for the diverse benefits of volunteer pet therapy. We protect the welfare of the dogs used in therapy at all times. We are an all-volunteer organization. We serve southeastern Wisconsin.
Our mission is: To improve the lives of others, many with special needs, through the practice of Animal Assisted Interventions. To achieve standards of excellence in ongoing training and evaluation of the human/animal team. To promote the supportive benefits of the human animal bond. To enhance the community's awareness of and involvement in these programs.
