For over 125 years, the YWCA has been addressing community needs in Wisconsin. Originally founded in 1892 as the YWCA Greater Milwaukee, in 2012, the YWCA increased its service area and became the YWCA Southeast Wisconsin. Throughout our history, expansion in 2012 and today, the YWCA has been dedicated to facilitating access to opportunity for low income, underserved individuals.
Mission: The YWCA Southeast Wisconsin is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
