YWCA Southeast Wisconsin

YWCA Southeast Wisconsin is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, support families, and strengthen communities. At the local level, we opened our doors in 1893. Since that time, we have been dedicated to helping underserved families gain economic stability. We serve more than 10,000 individuals each year through comprehensive programs and services such as adult education, personal financial management, racial justice training, and job preparation and image guidance. We have extensive experience serving individuals from a variety of racial and cultural backgrounds and with a variety of needs, including those with compromised work history, educational deficits, disabling conditions, and those facing homelessness. To fulfill our mission, we combine racial justice education with economic empowerment programs to create a more just and equitable community for everyone.
