Serving Southeastern Wisconsin for 116 years, the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is a cornerstone of the community providing enriching music education and world class concert series. With students as young as four months through senior citizens, the Conservatory is truly an all-inclusive music school. Our faculty of 100+ teaching artists provides expert group and individual instruction in voice and over 40 instruments, customized to student’s specific interests and experience levels. Instruction is available in classical, jazz, rock, bluegrass, and folk styles. Our flagship location is located at the historic McIntosh|Goodrich Mansion at 1584 N. Prospect Avenue. Instruction is also offered at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in Brookfield and Audubon Court in Bayside.
The mission of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music is to provide the finest musical education to the aspiring professional performer as well as to children and adults who desire cultural enrichment or musical self-fulfillment. The Conservatory is committed to tailoring each student’s instruction to their individual needs, abilities, interests and learning styles. Faculty members are encouraged to work carefully with students to guide them to achieve their goals at a pace that is appropriate for them. Conservatory programs are multifaceted including Early Childhood Music Education, a nationally-renown Jazz Institute, tuition assistance, private lessons, classes, ensembles and Conservatory Connections which provides music education residencies to over 59 schools, assisted living facilities and community centers.
