American Cancer Society - West Cook Region

The American Cancer Society - West Cook Region covers the West Cook Region of Illinois. We provide patient services, including free wigs and free rides to cancer treatments. We also promote many fundraising opportunities through our 10+ Relay For Life events in this area, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in October, and our brand new Walk & Roll event, which is a walk, skate and bike event. There are many ways to be involved and support the American Cancer Society.

Mission: The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
