CAN DO Houston creates and sustains collaborations between individuals, institutions, and organizations to maximize program impact. Focusing on the 5 neighborhoods of Independence Heights, Sunnyside, Magnolia Park, Near Northside and 5th Ward, CAN DO Houston coordinates its partners and resources to create community-based interventions that are tailored to the needs of each community. CAN DO Houston's multidimensional strategies include advocacy, environmental change, public education, and community-based participatory research.
