Parks Youth Ranch

About

Description
Parks Youth Ranch provides emergency shelter, counseling, and life changing services to abused, at-risk and homeless children ages 7-17 in our community. Over ninety-five percent of the child residents are victims of emotional or physical trauma, and are referred to the ranch by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). The ranch sits on eight acres of land and has two fully stocked fishing ponds – providing children in crisis the therapeutic effects of nature and comforting aesthetics of a family-style ranch home.
