VNA - Visiting Nurse Association

About

VNA is the oldest, most experienced hospice provider in Texas. Founded in 1934, VNA is a non-profit that helps people age with dignity and independence. In Collin County, we provide quality end-of-life care for all who need it, regardless of their ability to pay. We ensure that people who are chronically ill or disabled, recovering from illness or in the final days of life, all receive hospice care in their home. As one of only a few non-profit hospice providers, our focus is on the patient, not the bottom line. We also provide private care for those who need at home assistance to remain independent and are the Meals on Wheels provider in Dallas County.

We’re accredited by CHAP, NIJH, and been voted best hospice by several newspapers. If you’ve got some time to give, we have many fun and meaningful Individual, family, and group volunteer opportunities! Last year, we had more than 7500 volunteers making a difference! We are always looking for those special volunteers that want to form a meaningful relationship with our hospice patients by paying them a friendly visit. We love groups that want to make blankets! Seamstress, massage therapists, hairstylists, and office assistants are all needed. Please contact us at
