The WERX Foundation



The WERX Foundation was created to bring innovative entrepreneurial minds and the startup community in McKinney together to build, grow and support small businesses in McKinney.  The WERX Center provides a collaborative environment for entrepreneurs and startups to network and create alliances to stimulate growth.  The WERX Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit committed to providing technology start-up ventures with a collaborative work space, a resource network of industry executives and educational programs for assisting in accelerating an idea.  Members share in educational programming and tool to commercialize technology, raise capital and hire a solid team that executes.  The WERX is backed by the McKinney Economic Development Corporation through their Emerging Technology

The WERX is a collaborative shared workspace and business center for start-ups and entrepreuneurs that offers a unique atmosphere and eco-system of resources and coolness!  The accepted residents share an open working space with dedicated desks and shared free amenities.  Open seating plans are also available for those who need a place to meet with clients or need a desk to work at during regular business hours.  Amenities include:  FREE coffee, tea and water, FREE breakfast on Thursdays, kitchen with refrigerator/microwave, high speed wifi, shared printing, copying, scanning, conference room by reservation, quiet phone call room, biometric fingerprint scan access, educational opportunities, presentations and events, outdoor patio, free parking, one mile from Historic McKinney Downtown Square, endless collaboration!
