Kavod Senior Life (Kavod is the Hebrew word for respect/honor from the commandment to honor your father and mother) is a HUD subsidized, low-income housing community for over 400 seniors and some disabled, mainly independent residents and some assisted living. We are a diverse community with 25% of our residents Russian language speakers and a large number of residents from other countries. Although started by the Jewish Community, Kavod has residents from all background and religions. We are much more than just housing. We have a vibrant activities department, a Rabbi/Chaplain on staff, a team of social workers, and a wellness center.
