National Charity League Inc., Alamo



Alamo Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. was organized in July, 2010, and is the second chapter to form in San Antonio, Texas. Members primarily live on the north side of San Antonio. The formation of the Alamo Chapter generated an enthusiastic response resulting in a current membership of 124 mothers, called Patronesses, and 148 daughters, called Ticktockers, all eager to take part in making our community a better place.

Members are mothers and daughters in grades 7-12 who are committed to the mission and vision of NCL, Inc. and who believe in the organization’s core values.  Membership requires a commitment of time and serviceand carries a financial responsibility. The NCL, Inc. program includes community service opportunitiesleadership development, and cultural experiences, in an organization that seeks to strengthen the mother-daughter bond. The Alamo Chapter is in the process of developing partnerships with a variety of philanthropies, where mothers and daughters can work closely together in supporting the local community through providing hands on volunteer support to those philanthropies.
