For The Kingdom (FTK) is a faith based non- denominational camp located in North Memphis which seeks to inspire and impact inner-city youth with an exciting and safe camping experience. For The Kingdom hosts one week overnight camping sessions for kids from under-served communities in the Memphis area. During that week, FTK encourages the campers to trust in God, stay in school, to resist the negative influences that exist in their neighborhoods and then send the kids back into their communities to create a positive ripple effect.
In 1993, Eddie and Becky Cunningham purchased the FTK property in the Raleigh community and created a day camp for kids from underserved neighborhoods and communities. In 1999, the property was expanded into an overnight camp which which now includes twelve cabins, a dining hall, an auditorium, zip lines, a climbing tower, a giant water slide and more. Now in its eighteenth year as a 501c3, FTK has expanded to 100 acres and has served thousands of kids and young adults from the Memphis area by providing a premium overnight camping experience that enables its campers to enjoy a reprieve from their troubled communities and reevaluate their life choices.
