Germantown's Bobby Lanier Farm Park is a 10-acre education and demonstration center for sustainable living through agriculture and stewardship. It is a public park and working farm featuring a community garden, ample green space, and a modern hay barn for event rentals.
Volunteers, affectionately known as Farm Hands, work with farm related events. Supporting farmers and artisans at the Farm Park Farmers' Market and educating the community through field trips and programming are just a few ways the Farm Hands promote sustainable living. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available for adults, teens and service groups.
