Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation

Currently, Mobile C.A.R.E. Foundation staffs two Asthma Vans each with a clinical team of three. They travel around inner-city Chicago, stopping at 40 schools and Head Start sites on a rotating basis to provide ongoing care, education, and medications to help children and their families get asthma under control.

Each month, the Mobile C.A.R.E. Asthma Vans conduct nearly 300 patient visits. Children seen on the Asthma Vans experience fewer asthma-induced missed school days, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations.

Mission: Mobile C.A.R.E. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide no-cost, comprehensive asthma care and education to children and families in Chicagoland's underserved communities via mobile medical clinics, the Asthma Vans.
