CUMAC acts as one of the largest feeding programs in northern New Jersey. CUMAC's pantry provides food to 32,000 people a year and our depot handles nearly 2 million pounds of food for a network of 55 feeding programs.
CUMAC runs multiple programs dedicated to addressing the root causes of hunger and poverty. Our Disaster Relief program helps people affected by fire, flood and other disaster. Our Thrift Shop provides high quality, low cost items to a community that might not otherwise be able to afford clothing and household items. Pathways to Work provides job training to thos seeking gainful employement. Our afterschool program, Tutoring and Literacy Center, offers homework assitance, academic enrichment and a safe social environment for 30 middle school youth and our seasonal projects provide school supplies, holiday gifts and other items to close to 2,000 area youth.
All of our programs rely heavily on volunteer support!
