New Alternatives for Children

New Alternatives for Children (NAC) is an incorporated New York State not-for-profit health and social service agency that provides comprehensive family support services for children who have severe physical disabilities and/or chronic illness. This includes Prevention, Foster Care, Adoption, Post-Adoption, Psychological, Medical, Educational, and Recreational services.

Mission: New Alternatives for Children (NAC) is the only New York City agency whose exclusive mission is to help children with severe disabilities or chronic illnesses leave the confines of sterile hospital wards in order to be reunited with biological, foster or adoptive families in the community.
