Description
The South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program, Inc. (SAVLP) is a charitable organization dedicated to delivering pro bono publico legal services to low-income citizens in Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke and Washington counties. Through local volunteer lawyers, the SAVLP provides free legal services in certain civil matters to low-income clients in Baldwin, Clarke, Mobile, and Washington counties. Student interns assist staff with tasks including but not limited to file maintenance and organization, conducting client intake, research, preparation for in office attorney appointments and other office duties. Generally, khakis, dress pants or a skirt and a collared shirt are appropriate dress. (This is an approved site for Foley Center INTERNSHIPS ONLY). Ariana Moore ariana@salvp.org
