This is the inaugural Sunshine Run (formerly known as the Bun Run) benefiting the Austin Sunshine Camps. The race includes 3 distance options and will be hosted by the Austin Young Men's Business League on April 27, 2014. The Silicon Labs Sunshine Run benefits the Young Men's Business League whose main endeavor in money and time is to support the Austin Sunshine Camps with locations at Zilker Park and on Lake Travis. The Young Men's Business League of Austin, a 100% volunteer organization, was established in 1913 and is one of the oldest and most respected social service organizations in Austin. The Austin Sunshine Camps were established in 1928 and have since provided services to over 48,000 of Austin's at risk and underprivileged youth. The kids are provided with week long summer camp programs, year round tutoring and mentoring, and leadership training for their future careers.
