The Muncie Mission is a non-profit organization in Muncie that serves men, women and families all over East Central Indiana. The Mission offers 5 main services: emergency shelter, a long-term recovery program, transitional housing for men, transitional housing for women and children, and family services.
Men’s Services The heart of the Mission is our faith-based Men’s program, a refuge for men experiencing the chaos of addictions and/or homelessness. They find temporary shelter as well as the opportunity to experience a year-long, 12-step program that provides counseling, education, and skill development as they rebuild their lives.
Muncie Mission expanded its services to women with the Women’s Transitional Housing, giving women struggling with homelessness a chance to rebuild and refocus their lives through this 6-18 month program.
The services we provide to the community include aiding families with food, clothing and household items to those in need.
We serve a free lunch Monday through Friday at 12:30.
