Nature and Purpose of Agency
The St. John's University College Bound: Liberty Partnerships Program is a State Funded program that has been serving high school students since its inception in 1989. The program is designed to provide support and services to high school students who are identified as having the potential to pursue a college education, but need assistance to finish secondary school. The St. John's University College Bound: Liberty Partnerships Program currently has a partnership with John Adams High School in Ozone Park, Queens.
Tasks Available for Students
Students are needed to assist on Saturday at St. John's University. Tutors will provide Regents prep and homework assistance for High School Students.
Please specify the area in which you can tutor when you sign up for service.
Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm (St. John's University)
1-2 students per time slot can volunteer
Student Awareness/Special Instructions
Students must meet with a Liberty Partnership supervisor prior to first service session.
There is a five week commitment required to serve with the Liberty Partnership Program.
