Nature and Purpose of Agency

As a Vincentian University, SJU makes every effort to teach our students to make smart, healthy and socially just choices. The Reduce Food Waste Campaign is designated to educate the SJU student body about reducing food waste by taking smaller size portions; talking about how food waste effects our environment and the process of composting food waste; as well as informing students about Food Recover Network, a student initiative dedicated to rescuing leftover food and feed the hungry.

Tasks Available for Students

The ASL students will be helping to educate their peers about the above mentioned efforts at SJU and asking them to sign a pledge poster to reduce food waste.
