Tasks Available for Students

Homework Help: Provide homework assistance to members Age 7 – 13, who are divided into small groups and are given one-hour blocks to work on their homework assignments. Engage and motivate members during homework help. (There is no hw help on Fridays).

Game Rooms/ Mentoring: Members are divided into three different recreation/game rooms based on their age (6-9 years old, 10 to 12 years old and 13+) where they have time to participate in recreation activities including arts and athletics.

 

Time Requirements          

Students can serve Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6:45 pm.

NOTE: Students looking to do more than 6 hours at The Boys Club of NY, will be required to go through a detailed application process, which includes a background check. Please contact Elizabeth Ramirez, Operations Manager, if interested.
