Crisis Resiliency Team


 

About

The Crisis Resiliency Team (TCRT) encourages emotional and spiritual resiliency among survivors of disasters and other traumatic events.  Chaplains and spiritual care providers trained in trauma care are available to go to disaster sites at the request of local community leaders.

The TCRT is a member of the Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (TX VOAD) and follows the guidelines on Disaster Spiritual Care of the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (NVOAD).

The emphasis of the TCRT is to promote resiliency among trauma survivors by facilitating:

  • Safety
  • Respect
  • Concern / Empathy
  • Encouragement

I have been invited to be a Spiritual Care Provider for a Foursquare Church 180 Disaster Relief Team in Tulsa, OK. They have been working 2 week straight on Disaster Relief & have asked for additional support.
I have been selected to go as a Volunteer.
