Firefly Trail, Inc.

The Firefly Trail is a developing, 39 mile rail-trail from Athens to Oglethorpe and Greene Counties. In partnership with the Oconee Rivers Greenway System, our vision is to provide a better, safer, more efficient, and more equitable transportation network, while ensuring measures to protect the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems which are so vital to our trail system. These trails serve as a resource for greater community connectivity, conservation, education, transportation, and recreation for citizens of Clarke County and beyond.
