k9 connection

k9 connection, a non-profit pilot project of OPCC, works with dogs rescued from Los Angeles area shelters in a year-round curriculum designed to educate and inspire teens in challenging situations. Intensive three-week programs are designed specifically for counselor referred teens at participating schools; concluding with a graduation celebration and the placement of each dog in a permanent home.

Mission: k9 connection is a project of OPCC (formerly the Ocean Park Community Center) of Santa Monica, California.
