The National Kidney Foundation of Southern California is dedicated to finding the causes of kidney and urologic diseases, to finding a cure, and to improving the quality of life for those now coping with kidney disease. This is achieved through scientific research, camp programs for kidney patients and their families, free kidney screenings, and public education regarding disease and the importance of organ and tissue donation.
Mission: The National Kidney Foundation of Southern California, a major voluntary health organization, seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.
