Make the Days Count Foundation

We estimate the foundation could serve 50 children a week initially. Within two years it is hoped that the foundations support will have grown substantially to allow for at least an additional 100 students a week to be involved. Any child from the first through 12 grades will be eligible to sign up with the foundation.

Initially there will be one tutorial center available. The center will be operative from 3pm to 7pm Monday through Friday. Students involved in the foundation will set up a schedule of arrival and departure with the center advisor.

Most of these "at-risk" children are very talented and smart. They just need a place to go that will encourage them to used their talents, guidance, and help them grow into a respectable man or woman who will not fall in the statistics of what society says about "at-risk" children in these communities. In addition, the programs offer will help them learn new skills, enhance their skills, give them something to look forward to when they get out of school, allow them to have fun through out the year, and exposure to a variety of things.

Mission: Our mission is to provide an after-school program for "at-risk" children and teens to learn and grow into a respectable person spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally. We strive for excellence in all we do. Our is the first to successfully combine sports, education, self-discipline and spiritual into a combination of teaching our youth everything that they do relates to one another. Safety is our very first initiative, where it concerns our youth. So we will always have adult workers were the ratio will be 1 to 10, it's easier to monitor the students.
