The Safe Animal Shelter has operated as a "no kill" facility in Clay County since 1991. Over the years, Safe has accepted and cared for literally thousands of dogs, cats into loving permanent homes.
We need your help. While volunteer duties at the shelter are not glamorous, your time and energy make a BIG difference in the lives of our animals.
We have volunteer shift positions open 7 days a week, two times a day. AM Shifts from 9a - 1p or PM Shifts from 1p - 5p.

Mission: Our mission is to provide a temporary safe haven for abused, abandoned, lost and unwanted cats and dogs until adopted into a permanent home and to advocate spay/neuter as the only means to control animal over population. We are a "Home Until They Find A Home".
