Columbus Literacy Council



Columbus Literacy Council is the oldest and largest volunteer adult literacy provider in Central Ohio. Utilizing over 300 volunteers each year, the Council provides one-to-one tutoring, small group instruction and computer-assisted learning to adults reading below an eighth grade level. Mission: To increase the level of functional literacy of adults reading below the eighth grade level through teaching the English language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
