The purpose of this group is to help serve the needs of the Farm to Table Springfield Community Gardens (SCG) and MSU USDA grant partnership. To reach the goals of this grant MSU is working with Springfield Community Gardens to involve students in service events and opportunities. Through these events we hope to provide SCG with the help they need to reach their goals of providing low income families and persons in Springfield MO with affordable and easy access to healthy foods and produce, while also providing MSU students with a memorable educational experience.
