Young Detroit Builders strives to unleash the positive energy of young adults to rebuild their communities and transform their lives through a commitment to work, education, responsibility and community. We are a non-profit organization that provides free GED preparation classes, academic support and residential construction training for Detroit youth who have not completed high school.
Mission: Young Detroit Builders works to help young adults by providing support services, education, training, and opportunities for self-development and growth, particularly in the areas of leadership, work competencies, and cultural awareness in order for them to be personally and professionally successful, postive role models for others, and a force in changing their lives, their communities, and their world.
