Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio

At Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio, arts education is all that we do, and its the one place where you can do it all -- dance, theater, music and visual arts, on location services, performances, workshops, residencies and professional development -- with hundreds of customizable arts programs. At the heart of what we do is the inspiration of the 110 highly qualified, culturally and professionally diverse teaching artists - who are gifted in sharing not only their talents not only with children but also with teachers.

Whether it is a one-act play illustrating key concepts of the American Civil Rights Movement, a dazzling display of West African dance and drumming, or students meeting Thomas Jefferson who comes "in person" as a professional actor to the classroom, Young Audiences has performances, workshops, residencies and professional development programs that engage all grade levels and fill many needs. Through a balance of demonstration and audience participation, Young Audiences programs expose students to an art form, support various curricular areas, and inject excitement and wonder into the school day.
